Local Information
Workshop Location
The workshop will be held at Texas Christian University (TCU), which is located
in Fort Worth, TX.
Housing is available on campus. Please see our housing page.
All talks will take place in the Sid Richardson Building, Lecture Hall 2. Breaks will be in Tucker Technology Center, Room 139. These two buildings are adjacent. Please see our
campus map with these locations marked or our interactive campus map
Transportation
The most convenient large airport is DFW International Airport, though it is also not unreasonable to fly into Dallas Love Field, which is just a bit further away.
There are several options to get to campus from the airport, including shuttle services such as Super Shuttle, ride sharing services (Lyft, Uber), and regular taxi service.
For those driving, parking passes should not be necessary during the summer.
Parking
Over the summer, daytime parking is allowed without permit in any of the lots designated as for Faculty, Staff, or Students and that are not marked as Reserved. Overnight parking should be done in Lot 3 or in the lot behind Campus Police. Please see our
campus map with these locations marked or our interactive campus map
Food and Drink
For those staying in the dorms, a TCU meal plan is included for three meals a day at TCU's Market Square dining facilty. It is anticipated that most participants will therefore be eating in the dining hall. Participants not staying in the dorms can purchase individual meals at Market Square to eat with the other participants. For those who wish to eat off campus, here are some
local restaurant options.
