The new book is out:
Cooking
in Other Women's Kitchens: Domestic Workers in the South, 1865-1960.
University of North Carolina Press, 2010.
I am currently working on two articles on domestic workers and one on women's education in antebellum Texas. The Texas piece is for a volume on Texas women that I am co-editing with Stephanie Cole and Elizabeth Hayes Turner. I anticipate that my next book project will be on women food entrepreneurs in the American South.
