Abstract Prof. Amine Fawaz, UT Permian Basin, Oct. 28, 2008, 4 pm, TTC 245 We discuss the volume of meromorphic foliations on Riemann surfaces equipped with metrics of constant curvature. We also give bounds of the volume of foliations given by projectable transverse meromorphic vector fields on principal circle bundles over Riemann surfaces.
