Course Grade:

Your course grade will be based on homework, 3 class exams, and a comprehensive final exam weighted as follows:

Homework 20%

3 Class Exams 16% each

Final Exam 32%

In the event that your final exam grade is better than the average of your class exam grades, it will instead count 50% of your grade and the 3 class exams will count 10% each. This system can only help your grade. The class exams will be given on the following dates

February 13

March 27

April 24

The final exam is scheduled on Monday, May 4, 11:30 am – 2:00 pm.

Homework will be assigned on most class days and is normally due at the next class meeting. Homework must be turned in on time except in the case of an excused absence. You are expected to attend class regularly.
